Helping Hand
Julianna Zukowski serves as the Associate Director of School Administration and Operations at Helping Hand School, a position held since July 2019, where leadership and management skills are applied to enhance student, staff, and parent learning. Previously, Julianna worked as an Individualized Education Program Coordinator, overseeing IEP compliance and collaborating with staff to achieve school improvement goals. Prior experience includes serving as a High School Special Education Teacher, delivering specialized instruction to students with disabilities and managing IEP processes. Julianna's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from DePaul University, where minors in Catholic Studies and Psychology were also completed.

Helping Hand
Helping Hand is a non-profit organization serving over 600 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in suburban Cook County and greater Chicagoland communities since 1955. We offer a wide range of person-centered programs and services that enhance the educational, therapeutic, residential, and employment opportunities for those we serve. Our programs and services include a school, progressive employment programs that promote inclusive workplaces, pediatric therapies (occupational and speech/language), high school transition services, Community Living (CILA), and specialized programs with high team member-to-client ratios for seniors with disabilities.
