Chief Financial Officer at Helping Hand

Ken Gaul has a strong background in finance and management. Ken started their career at Arthur Andersen as a Manager, where they worked from July 1990 to February 2002. After that, they joined Lutheran Child & Family Services of Illinois as the Director of Finance, overseeing all accounting and finance operations. In 2009, Gaul became the Chief Financial Officer at Aspire of Illinois, managing accounting and finance department operations along with supervising IT and maintenance departments. Lastly, they currently hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at Helping Hand Center since 2017.

Ken Gaul obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from St. Ambrose University, attending from 1986 to 1990.

Helping Hand is a non-profit organization serving over 600 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in suburban Cook County and greater Chicagoland communities since 1955. We offer a wide range of person-centered programs and services that enhance the educational, therapeutic, residential, and employment opportunities for those we serve. Our programs and services include a school, progressive employment programs that promote inclusive workplaces, pediatric therapies (occupational and speech/language), high school transition services, Community Living (CILA), and specialized programs with high team member-to-client ratios for seniors with disabilities.
