Lucy Zhang is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Helping Hands Community and a Visiting Partner at Pear VC, Lucy has previously held roles at First Round Capital as part of both the Angel Track & Fast Track programs, and at Facebook, where Lucy was a founding engineer on Facebook Messenger. Lucy co-founded Beluga Inc., a cross-platform mobile messaging service acquired by Facebook, and also founded Lucid Logic LLC, which developed educational apps for iOS. Earlier experience includes significant contributions to projects at Google, including Google AdWords, Google News, and Google Docs, as well as an internship at IBM Almaden Research. Lucy holds a BA in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
