Manar Alkassar is the Co-Founder of Kaso (YC W22), a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to that, they were the Founder & CEO of Helpling Middle East at Helpling since 2015. From 2014 to 2021, they worked as the Head of New Ventures (Middle East) at Rocket Internet SE. Manar also served as a Project Management & Business Development professional at Sirrix AG Security Technologies from 2008 to 2014. In addition, they gained experience as a Research Assistant at the University of St. Gallen - HSG in 2012 and as a Research and Student Assistant at the Technical University Kaiserslautern from 2008 to 2013. Manar also completed an internship at Mena Water FZC in Dubai in 2010.

Manar Alkassar completed a Master's program in Business Innovation at the University of St.Gallen. They also pursued an MBA program in Business Administration and Management at the Wake Forest University School of Business. Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau.
