Leslie Vlerick

Leslie Vlerick has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the product management and healthcare industry. In 2008, Leslie began their career as a Research Assistant at Ghent University and worked there until 2011. In 2012, they joined HealthConnect as a Product Owner and later took on the role of Product Manager for CareConnect, the largest EHR for general practitioners in Belgium. In 2017, Leslie became a Senior Consultant at HealthConnect, where they were responsible for product management and business development of the HealthConnect eHealth communication platform. Additionally, they led a project for the Belgian federal government. In 2019, Leslie joined Agfa HealthCare as a Product Manager until October of the same year. They then moved on to Nuance Communications, where they served as a Product Owner and later as a Principal Product Manager until November 2021. Currently, Leslie is the CEO of Helpper, a position they have held since April 2022. In 2021, Leslie also worked as a Freelance Product Manager.

Leslie Vlerick completed a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, with a focus on General studies, at Ghent University from 2003 to 2007. In 2022 and 2023, Leslie pursued an MBA program titled "MBA Highlights" at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. Additionally, Leslie holds certifications including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance, as well as the "Take the Lead" course from Vlerick Business School. Leslie also received UX training from UX Training. The specific months and years of obtaining the latter certifications are not provided.
