Ole Gunnar Krakhellen

Ole Gunnar Krakhellen has extensive experience in governance and education, currently serving as Styreleder and Styremedlem at Helse Førde since February 2018. Krakhellen has held the position of Stabsleiar forvaltning og utvikling at Luster Kommune since September 2021 and previously served as Kommunalsjef oppvekst and Konstituert rådmann at Sogndal Kommune from January 2016 to September 2021, overseeing the education sector. Prior experience includes being the Ordførar of Solund kommune from October 2011 to October 2015 and a Fylkestingsrepresentant for Sogn og Fjordane fylkeskommune. Krakhellen began a career in education as a lektor at Hyllestad skole in 2011 and previously served as Ungdomssekretær for Sogn og Fjordane Unge Høgre. Education includes a Master of Philosophy in English Language and Literature from the University of Bergen and a Bachelor's degree from the University of York.
