Sigmund Aalbu

Sigmund Aalbu has extensive experience in the field of IT and health informatics, currently serving as Spesialkonsulent at Helse Midt-Norge IT since April 2016. Prior roles include Seniorrådgiver at Direktoratet for e-helse and Helsedirektoratet, as well as Tjenesteansvarlig at HEMIT, where responsibilities included commercial management of basic services. Sigmund began in consultancy roles at Capgemini, both nationally and internationally, and previously operated as a self-employed IT consultant with SAR NUF. Early career experience includes various consultancy positions at Lantec, Infosolve, and NetCenter. Sigmund holds a Master's degree in Health Informatics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a BS in ICT from NHI.
