Kari Marie Baadstrand Sandnes

She has represented the employees as a board member since August 2002. Since 2006, she has been and is a group shop steward for LO Stat, her union affiliation is the Trade Union. She holds a position as a regional board member of the Nordland Trade Union and is the leader of LO Stat in Nordland. She has been active in municipal politics and has two terms in the municipal council behind her. Kari is a trained auxiliary nurse and has worked in both primary and specialist health services since 1988. She has shorter studies in administrative policy, labor law and project work at UIB and Nord University in addition to training in her own organization. She is also deputy manager of a local ASVO company in her home municipality.
