Kari Gro Johanson serves as the Project Director at Helse Stavanger, Stavanger universitetssjukehus, since October 2014, overseeing the execution of the SUS2023 project, which involves the establishment of a new university hospital in the Stavanger/Sandnes region. Prior to this role, Kari Gro Johanson was the Head of CCS projects in Renewable Energy at Statoil from January 2009 to December 2012.

Welcome to Stavanger Health Trust! Our main tasks are patient care and treatment, research, patient education and training of health care personnel. The main hospital is situated in Stavanger, while several clinics, medical centers and ambulance stations are located in the surrounding areas. Over 7300 employees work here distributed over 130 different occupations. We offer health care services to more than 330 000 people (2010) - and in 2030 the number is estimated to increase to 430 000.
