Liv Sand's work experience includes being a Post Doc Researcher at Helse Vest since 2017, a Head of Outpatient Clinic in Mental Health Care for Children and Adolescents at Stavanger University Hospital since 2004, and a Clinical Psychologist at the same hospital from 2004 to 2017. Liv also served as the Chair of the Nordic Psychiatry Conference "Schizofrenidagene" in 2016. Prior to their role at the hospital, they worked as a Researcher at Uni Research starting in 2015.
Liv Sand started their education in 1998 at the University of Bergen (UiB) where they pursued a degree in Psychology. Liv completed this program in 2003. Subsequently, they continued their academic journey at the same university, and from 2009 to 2015, Liv Sand earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the field of Body Image and Eating Disturbances in Children and Adolescents.
