Jan-Erik Antipin has a wide range of work experience in analytics, research, and economics. Jan-Erik currently serves as the Head of Analytics and Research at HSL Helsingin seudun liikenne since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Finnish Tax Administration (Verohallinto) from 2013 to 2022, where they focused on applied analytics and people-oriented culture change. Jan-Erik also served as a Macroeconomist at Konjunkturinstitutet from 2009 to 2013, conducting economic and statistical forecasting, as well as participating in various in-house projects. Jan-Erik Antipin also worked as a part-time consultant, empowering business operations with data-driven insights, from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Project Researcher at UNU-WIDER from 2004 to 2005 and as a Research Assistant/Junior Researcher at Åbo Akademi University from 2001 to 2004, where they focused on econometric modeling and income distribution analysis.
Jan-Erik Antipin's education history includes obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Economics, Econometrics, and Quantitative economics from the University of Tampere between 1925-2018.
