Marko Vihervuori has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Marko started their career as a Summer Intern at the City of Helsinki in 1989. From there, they went on to work as a Planner at Suunnittelukeskus Oy, now FCG, from 1990 to 1997. Marko then joined the City of Espoo as a Planner for a year before transitioning to Statistics Finland as a Senior Statistician from 1998 to 2007. Following that, they worked at Helsinki City Transport as the Head of Transport Surveys from 2007 to 2009. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Traffic Research Group at HSL Helsinki Region Transport, where they have been since 2010.
Marko Vihervuori obtained their Master's degree in Transportation, Zone Planning, and Materials Moving from Aalto University. Marko enrolled in 1986 and successfully completed their education in 1994.
