Alexander Gogoberidze

Alexander Gogoberidze has extensive experience in economic development and project management, currently serving as the Regional Manager for Eastern Partnership countries and the Regional Manager for South Caucasus at Helvetas since July 2020, focusing on the Sida Programme. Prior to this role, Alexander worked as a Market Systems and Economic Development Expert as a freelancer from February 2019 to June 2020. Alexander was the Team Leader for the MOLI in Kakheti Project (HEKS/EPER) from December 2017 to February 2019 and previously held the position of Deputy Team Leader in the same project from November 2011 to November 2017. Alexander's career includes a significant tenure as Director and Partner at SMEDA Ltd. from June 1994 to November 2011, providing business consulting services. Alexander holds a Master's degree in Economics from Tbilisi State University.
