Kamal Bahadur Rokaya

Kamal Bahadur Rokaya is a governance coordinator at Helvetas since January 2023, focusing on supporting local governments in migration governance and institutionalizing labor and migration within government structures. Previously, Kamal served as a program officer and district project coordinator at the Safer Migration Project from August 2014 to January 2023, where responsibilities included facilitating labor migration initiatives and capacity building for government staff. Kamal's experience extends to roles such as social development officer at Helvetas and district program officer with the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Development Management and Governance from Nepal Open University and a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities and Social Science from Mahendra Multiple Campus.
