Managing Partner & CIO at Helvetica Capital

Christian Fuessinger is Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Helvetica Capital. In addition to the implementation and supervision of new investments and the administration of the existing portfolio, as a member of the executive board and CFO, he is operationally responsible for the company's financial operations.

Prior to that, Christian Fuessinger was CFO and head of corporate affairs in the management of the Openlimit Group, a listed SME in the IT industry based in Baar (CH) and Berlin (D), from 2010 to 2015. Before starting operations in the SME sector, Christian Fuessinger worked as an investment banker for Credit Suisse in London for ten years. Most recently, he led a team of experts with a focus on company valuation and strategies to increase shareholder value, and in particular also looked after international private equity funds. He also worked for several years in corporate finance and M&A at Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group and prior to that he gained further investment banking experience at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in Frankfurt.

Christian Fuessinger studied in Vienna (University of Economics), Chicago (UIC) and Milan (Bocconi) and has diploma and master’s degrees with a focus on finance and international management (CEMS).
