Philipp Albers is the Investment Director of Helvetica Capital AG. Before that, he worked as a management consultant in the Zurich office of The Boston Consulting Group, where he mainly worked on projects in the financial industry. Before joining Helvetica Capital AG, he gained further professional experience in investment banking at Credit Suisse in Zurich and in asset management at First Eagle Investment Management in New York.
Philipp Albers holds degrees in business administration from the University of St. Gallen (BA) and the Columbia Business School (MBA) in New York.

Helvetica Capital AG was founded in 2015 as an independent investment firm which arose from the team behind SVC Ltd. for Risk Capital for SMEs, a wholly owned subsidiary of Credit Suisse. Since 2010, the team at SVC Ltd. (in 2018 renamed Credit Suisse Entrepreneur Capital Ltd. or CSEC) has built up an attractive portfolio with direct investments in Swiss SMEs in the venture, growth and later stage areas, which Helvetica Capital continues to manage and further develop as exclusive advisor to CSEC.
