Dimi Balaouras

Dimi Balaouras has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. In 2002, they started their career as an Informatics Technology Tutor in Private Schools and worked there until 2007. In 2005, they also served as a Computer and Network Administrator at Hellenic Geographical Service for a brief period.

Moving forward, in 2006, Dimi joined Bytecode.gr as a Software Engineer and later became a Lead Programmer at WatchMouse in 2006. Dimi stayed with WatchMouse until 2011 when they transitioned to CA Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer. At CA Technologies, they worked on Java-based Web Applications, designing RESTful APIs, AuthN/Z layers, and Databases until 2016.

In 2016, Dimi co-founded Helvia.ai and held the position of Co-Founder & CTO. Dimi also co-founded Stek.io the same year and served as a Co-Founder until 2017. In 2018, Dimi became the Chief Technology Officer at both SB Technologies and Dr. Button until 2020.

Recently, in 2020, Dimi joined SafeSize as an Information Technology Management Consultant and worked there until 2021. Overall, Dimi Balaouras has showcased their expertise and leadership skills in various technology-related roles throughout their career.

Dimi Balaouras holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), which was awarded between the years 1996 and 2002. In 2019, Dimi Balaouras obtained a Master's degree in Informatics and Computational Biomedicine from the University of Thessaly. Additionally, Dimi Balaouras has obtained several certifications, including Cryptography I, Machine Learning, and Compilers from Stanford University through Coursera. Dimi Balaouras also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance, which was obtained in February 2016.
