Alex Marichal

Alex Marichal has extensive work experience, starting in 1995 as a Brand Management professional at Procter & Gamble. From there, they moved on to roles at Pfizer as a Director/Team Leader, and then at Meredith Corporation as a Vice President. Alex joined Baxter International Inc. in 2011, where they held positions as the Head of Marketing and later as the Global Commercial Launch & Lifecycle Leader. In 2015, they became the Head of Product Marketing and Sales at Octapharma, where they successfully launched their first recombinant FVIII product. Alex then joined Sunovion Pharmaceuticals in 2017 as the Commercial Launch Leader for Respiratory. Most recently, in 2019, they assumed the role of Vice President of Global Commercial Development at Hemanext.

Alex Marichal attended the University of Florida, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. They also pursued further education at the Texas McCombs School of Business, obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree.
