Casey Cosetta

Casey Cosetta, PhD, is a dedicated scientist currently serving as a Research Scientist III at Hemanext after holding the position of Senior Scientist at Prolacta Bioscience. With a robust academic background from Tufts University, Casey's research focuses on the interactions between yeasts and filamentous fungi on aged cheeses, utilizing advanced 'omic' techniques. Previously, Casey contributed to teaching as a Teaching Assistant at Tufts and engaged in various educational roles, including Substitute Teacher and Camp Counselor at Quincy Catholic Academy. In leadership capacities, Casey also held the position of President of the Teaching Assistant Advisory Board at Stonehill College, where they managed and evaluated tutoring programs.
