Ruvendra Gunasena

Ruvendra Gunasena currently serves as the Director of Group IT and Processes at HEMAS HOLDINGS PLC since August 2021, where responsibilities include leading the Group IT function, overseeing IT operations, and driving transformation projects that enhance customer engagement. Prior to this role, Ruvendra held the position of Deputy General Manager and Head of IT at CEAT Limited from August 2018 to July 2021, managing IT strategy, governance, and a diverse technology team. Ruvendra's extensive experience in the IT sector includes a tenure at Fonterra from 2006 to 2018 in various capacities, culminating as Senior Manager of Service Delivery, along with previous roles at Aitken Spence GTECH and Monaro Group 4 Falck. Ruvendra holds an MBA in Information Technology from the University of Moratuwa and a BSc in Computing and Information Systems from London Metropolitan University.
