Ramidu Costa - Mba

Ramidu Costa is a highly experienced professional in risk management and compliance, currently serving as the inaugural Head of Risk Management and Control at Hemas Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd and Hemas Surgicals & Diagnostics (Pvt) Ltd since August 2024. Ramidu has a rich background in leadership roles, including Chief Risk Officer and Head of Treasury at Mercantile Investments and Finance PLC, where significant reforms led to the retrenchment of LKR 50 million. Previously, Ramidu provided risk management consultancy for clients in the KSA market and played a pivotal role in establishing compliance and internal control policies at the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ. Ramidu holds an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University and is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, and has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Colombo.
