Kimberly Smith

Kimberly Smith's work experience includes serving as a Senior Director of Scientific Affairs and a Scientific Director at Hematogenix since June 2023 and June 2021 respectively. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Director of Biomarker Discovery & Development and a Scientist at the same company from December 2019 to July 2021. Before joining Hematogenix, they were a Post Doctoral Fellow at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine from July 2014 to December 2018, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Chicago from July 2011 to July 2014.

Kimberly Smith's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology, General from Illinois Wesleyan University, which was completed between 1997 and 2001. Kimberly then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Molecular, Cellular, and Systemic Physiology at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, from 2001 to 2003. Kimberly went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cancer Biology from Northwestern University, where they studied from 2005 to 2011.
