Karen Callahan has extensive work experience in the medical field, particularly in the areas of hematology and oncology. Karen started their career at SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2001 as a University Physician's- Hematology/Oncology, a role they held until 2007.
Karen Callahan has a diverse education history. Karen started their academic journey by earning an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from The Sage Colleges-Sage College of Albany from 1989 to 1991. Later, in 1996 to 1998, they pursued a degree in Nursing and completed an Associate's Degree from SUNY Morrisville. Building upon their nursing qualifications, Karen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing from Keuka College, studying there from 2007 to 2009. To further enhance their expertise in nursing education, they completed a Master's Degree in Nursing Education, specializing in that field from 2013 to 2015, also at Keuka College.
