Srivasta Aithal

Srivasta Aithal is the Director of R&D at HeMemics Biotechnologies. Before joining HeMemics, Srivasta was a Co-Founder at Celerite labs where their primary focus was on carbon nanotube based sensor research for protein and pathogen sensing. Srivasta has also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at McMaster University where they led the biosensors effort in the group and developed CNT based sensors for E.coli for water microbial safety application, an ELISA based antibody test for COVID19 and worked with an industry partner to develop a gold nanoparticle based SARS-CoV-2 test. Prior to their work at McMaster University, Srivasta was a Research Assistant at Université de Sherbrooke and an Assistant Research Fellow at Abnova.

Srivasta Aithal has a Doctor of Philosophy in Biosensors from Université de Sherbrooke and a Master of Science in Engineering in Microfluidics, MEMS, Semiconductor Optoelectronics and Solid State Electronics from Arizona State University.

Srivasta Aithal reports to John L. Warden, Jr., Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Richard Liu - CFO, David Ho - Founder, President & CSO.
