Monika Hegi

Monika Hegi is a Full Professor at CHUV | Lausanne University Hospital since January 1998, specializing in translational research for glioma, focusing on gene expression profiling and epigenetic alterations to identify predictive factors for therapy response. Concurrently, Monika Hegi serves as a Full Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Lausanne - UNIL, with a research emphasis on experimental and translational cancer research in neuro-oncology, particularly tumor epigenetics and clinical trials. Previous positions include Senior Research Associate at Universitätsspital Zürich and Postdoctoral Research Associate at NIEHS. Monika Hegi holds a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences - Biology and a Master's Degree from ETH Zürich.
