Laura Peil

Laura Peil, MLIS, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in library science and educational resource management. Currently serving as an OEMS Specialist and Coordinator of Talent & Development at Hemlock Semiconductor since October 2021, Peil previously held multiple roles at Saginaw Valley State University, including Manager of the Regional Educational Resource Center and Manager of Web Operations, where collaboration with various colleges and administration was key to maintaining web accuracy and the university catalog. Additionally, Peil worked as the Manager of Instructional Technology and Media for Midland Public Schools, overseeing over ten media centers to foster educational solutions. Early career experience includes a position as Associate Librarian at Grace A Dow Memorial Library. Peil holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Florida State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Education and Promotion from Central Michigan University.
