Pastor Debbie K. has extensive work experience in both the healthcare and ministry sectors. In 2012, they began their career as a Minister at Restoration Inclusive Ministries, where they led the Youth and Young Adult Department and co-led the Evangelistic Street Team Ministry. In 2014, they transitioned to Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics as an Office Administrator, providing administrative support and coordinating clinic operations. In 2015, they served as a Pastor at De Vine Walk of Faith International before founding and becoming the Senior Pastor of The Way of Jesus Christ Ministries later that year. Most recently, in 2019, they took on the role of Director of Revenue Cycle at Hemophilia of Georgia.

Pastor Debbie K. began their education journey in 1995 at Dunbar Vocational High School, where they pursued a degree in Fashion Design, specializing in General Studies. Moving forward, in 2004, they attended Olympia College, completing a Medical Administrator Assistant program with a focus on Medical Administration Assistant, billing, and coding. Continuing their academic pursuits, from 2010 to 2012, they studied Funeral Service and Mortuary Science at City Colleges of Chicago-Richard J Daley College. During the same time period, they also pursued General Studies at the same institution. In 2011 and 2012, they attended City Colleges of Chicago-Richard J Daley College once again, this time focusing on General Studies.
