William Mellon

William Mellon is an experienced software engineer with a strong focus on medical technologies and wireless communications. Currently serving as a Sr. Software Engineer at HemoSonics, LLC since January 2019, William specializes in software R&D for point-of-care medical diagnostic devices. Prior experience includes roles at Ascom Wireless Solutions, LipoScience, and RTEmd, where William contributed to the development of wireless communication systems and in vitro diagnostics. William has also held positions at Jamex Vending, Mach6 Solutions, Xerox, Spectronics, and Real Time Enterprises, Inc., showcasing a diverse skill set in software and embedded systems. William earned a degree in Computer Engineering with coursework in Physics, Electronics, Programming, and French from Florida International University, complemented by additional studies at Buffalo State University.
