It is also indicated for control of bleeding from the skin at percutaneous needle access, vascular and percutaneous catheter access sites. NexFoam is a versatile sponge that can be used as a spacer, stent and hemostat. It dissolves naturally over 7-14 days or can be easily removed with gentle irrigation. Both NexStat and NexFoam are biocompatible and require no special storage conditions.
