Laurine Rijsbergen

Laurine Rijsbergen is an accomplished R&D scientist in Biomedicine at hemotune AG since January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD student researcher at Erasmus MC from October 2017 to March 2023, where Laurine focused on respiratory viruses and the transition from animal models to organoids, managing multiple research projects concurrently. Additionally, Laurine was a board member of Promeras, advocating for PhD wellbeing and promoting inclusion within the community. Other research roles include work at Public Health England, optimizing flow cytometry assays, and various projects at Erasmus MC related to pathogen biology. Laurine holds a Master of Science in Infection & Immunity from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Utrecht University.
