Sami Abi-Aad

Sami Abi-Aad has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sami is currently the Head of Finance and Operations at hemotune AG since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Finance Business Partner - BU International at Delica AG from 2022 to 2023. In 2020, Sami co-founded and worked as the CFO of an undisclosed company until 2021. Before that, they held the position of Assistant Vice President Business Development at ABB, where they gained expertise in negotiations, corporate development, leadership, project management, and lean management from 2018 to 2020.

Sami's earlier experiences include working as the Global Manager Service and Project Manager - Medical Division at Leica Microsystems, where they led teams focused on transforming service logistics and improving the Service Life Cycle concept. Sami was also a Business Development Manager and Financial Analyst at RYMCO, where they managed international activities and played a key role in introducing the Infiniti car brand to the UK market. At Price Waterhouse Coopers, Sami began their career as a Senior Audit Associate and later became an Audit Associate, acquiring expertise in various sectors such as automotive, hotel/leisure services, consumer products, F&B, and oil & gas. Their experience at PwC helped him develop a strong foundation in business, accounting, audit, and finance, while also fostering important skills such as resilience, diligence, attention to detail, and work ethic.

Sami Abi-Aad's education history begins with their attendance at Collège Notre-Dame de Jamhour from 1990 to 2003. However, the specific degree earned or field of study pursued during this time is not provided. In 2003, they enrolled at the American University of Beirut and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business-Finance in 2006. Moving forward, in 2013, Sami attended INSEAD and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management.

Most recently, in March 2022, Sami received a certification in Power BI Essential Training from LinkedIn.
