Joanna Ashmead

Joanna Ashmead is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media relations and social media management. Currently serving as the Head of Media Relations at Hempel A/S since July 2021, Joanna also held the role of Senior Communications Manager at the same company. Prior to this, Joanna spent over five years at Novozymes, where roles included Media Relations & Social Media Manager and Communications Manager. Joanna's career began with positions such as PR Consultant at Prowse & Company Ltd and Account Manager at PRCo International, alongside earlier writing roles for VIVA Magazine and ELLE UK Magazine. Joanna holds a BA (Hons) in French Studies from The University of Manchester and a Foundation degree in Beauty Therapy and Health Studies from the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London.
