Pierre Godinho is an experienced professional in operational excellence and sustainability with a robust background in manufacturing and project management. Currently serving as an Operational Excellence Specialist and Operations Sustainability Specialist at Hempel A/S since April 2021, Pierre has previously held roles such as Regional HSE Project Manager and Director Fabril-Plant Manager at Hempel Portugal SA, where responsibilities included leadership, factory operations, and process optimization. With a career beginning in 1995, Pierre has worked in various capacities across several companies, including DyStar, DAI - Sociedade de Desenvolvimento Agro-Industrial S.A., and Secil, gaining valuable expertise in production coordination, safety, and R&D. Pierre holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from UNL-FCT and has completed an ISO 45001 2018 Internal Audit Safety course.
