Silvestra Cumming

Silvestra Cumming currently serves as the Global Data Protection Manager (DPCO) at Hempel A/S, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this role, Silvestra was the Privacy Lead / Head of Privacy at Vinted / Kleiderkreisel from April 2020 to January 2022 and worked as a Data Protection Manager at Wunderman Thompson MAP from July 2018 to March 2020. Additional experience includes a research assistant role at Copenhagen Capacity and serving as President of Energy Crossroads Denmark, along with a brief tenure as Business Development Manager at DETRA. Silvestra is pursuing a Master of Laws - LLM in Advanced Master in Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Management at Maastricht University, expected to complete in August 2025, and has obtained relevant qualifications in Data Protection Law and Information Governance from Northumbria University and a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Roskilde University. Silvestra also holds a Bachelor's degree in Global and EU studies from Roskilde University and has musical training in piano from Yamaha Music School.
