Stefan Urth Nielsen

Stefan Urth Nielsen is a highly skilled senior chemist with extensive experience in research and development within the chemical industry. Since March 2020, Stefan has been contributing to Hempel A/S, following a brief role as an R&D chemist in the chemical industry. Prior to that, from November 2016 to October 2019, Stefan worked as an industrial PhD student at RadiSurf ApS in collaboration with the iNANO center at Aarhus University, focusing on innovative polymerization techniques for nanoscale polymer brush coatings. Stefan's academic background includes a PhD in Organic Chemistry, a Master of Science in Medicinal Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Medicinal Chemistry, all obtained from Aarhus University. Additionally, work as an assistant scientist at Aarhus University involved enhancing percutaneous implants to improve integration with human tissue, aimed at reducing infection rates.
