Thomas Etter

Thomas Etter has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles related to compliance, data protection, integrity, and risk management. Thomas worked as the Head of Compliance & Data Protection at Hempel A/S, where they were responsible for protecting structures from corrosive forces. Thomas also held positions at The Red Flag Group as the Director of Professional Services and Director of Advisory, where they managed integrity and compliance risks for customers. Thomas was the Compliance Officer at Maersk Drilling, overseeing trade compliance programs and internal investigations. Additionally, they served as the Global Head of Compliance & Sustainability at Damco, responsible for ethics and compliance programs, as well as sustainability initiatives. At Brüel & Kjær Vibro A/S, they were involved in channel marketing and implementing the partner business model. Finally, at Brüel & Kjaer Vibro, Thomas ensured export compliance and served as the Group HSEQ Manager.

Thomas Etter received their education at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1991 to 1997. Thomas obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering during this time. Prior to their enrollment at EPFL, they attended Collège St. Michel in Fribourg from 1986 to 1990, but no degree or field of study is specified for this period.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Thomas Etter obtained the Trace TASA Anti-Bribery Specialist Accreditation from TRACE International, Inc. in August 2014.
