Rachel Luann Strayer

Rachel Luann Strayer is a Library Aide and Substitute Teacher at Hempfield School District since December 2020. Additionally, Rachel is a self-employed playwright with notable writing credits including "Drowning Ophelia," published by Blue Moon Plays and produced at various universities and festivals. Rachel's directing experience includes positions at Keystone College where curriculum focused on playwriting and dramatic literature. Rachel has also served as a freelance writer for Wilkes Alumni Magazine and has experience as both an actress and director with Ghostlight Productions. Academic credentials include a Master of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts in Creative Writing/Playwriting from Wilkes University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Theatre from Clarks Summit University.
