Justin Cumberlege

Justin specialises in providing legal advice to the primary care healthcare sector, and has nearly 30 years’ experience. Justin’s healthcare and public sector focus encompasses advice on governance and commercial issues for primary care networks (PCNs) GP alliances and federations and GP partnership issues, including mergers and disputes. Justin also advises consultants forming LLPs and companies to provide private services or to collaborate in providing services to the NHS. He was at the forefront of setting up PCNs and now as they mature, working with the Hempsons’ primary care team.

Justin’s recent work includes joint venture agreements between different healthcare providers, and contracts to deliver services at scale as part of Integrated Care Systems. Justin is an integral part of the Hempsons’ primary care team across all four of our offices and continues to develop the services we provide for GPs and other healthcare practitioners in the private and NHS sectors.
