Akshay Thakor

Akshay Thakor is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and management across various sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder and COO at HEN Nozzles since February 2024, Akshay focuses on innovative solutions for the fire services community. As an angel investor since 2020, Akshay has supported tech startups including Infiot. Prior roles include Chief Operating Officer at Lumanu, overseeing payments and financing for the creator economy, and Senior Vice President of Operations at Turing.com, recognized for its innovative remote developer placement. Akshay's leadership at Postmates Inc. as Vice President Operations and GM contributed to its successful acquisition by Uber in 2020. Early career experiences include strategic roles at McKinsey & Company and Booz & Company, as well as project execution at ITC Limited. Akshay holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
