Maria Bedoya is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience in various roles, including Chief Executive Officer of Mental Health at Empowered Woman LLC, Financial Services Representative at Primerica, and Behavioral Health Clinician at Henderson Behavioral Health. Maria also serves as an Adjunct Professor at St. Thomas University and has a background in marketing and advocacy for children through the Guardian Ad Litem Program. Maria holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from St. Thomas University.

Established in 1953, Henderson Behavioral Health (HBH or Henderson) provides healthcare, housing, and hope for over 30,000 persons of all ages with behavioral health conditions in Florida each year. Through care, supported employment, advocacy, and housing, Henderson assists and inspires people with mental illnesses and substance use disorders to reclaim their lives.
