Isaac Brethour has gained extensive work experience in various engineering roles throughout their career. Isaac started their career at Black & Veatch as a Technical Services Intern in 2015, where they were responsible for revising and filing engineering documents. Isaac continued at Black & Veatch as a Technical Services Intern in 2016, working in the Word Processing group and gaining valuable insight into the process of developing professional documents.
In 2017, Isaac interned at Black & Veatch again, this time in the Mechanical Engineering Department in the Oil & Gas Equipment group. Here, they assisted with equipment procurement on the FLNG plant. Isaac also had the opportunity to work on process improvement projects and LEAN integration at four Florida Power & Light solar power plant fields.
Isaac also interned at Aviation Consulting & Engineering Solutions, Inc in 2017, where they gained experience with AutoCAD drawings and worked on various projects, including designing and building a 3D Gantry system.
In 2018, Isaac joined Henderson Engineers as a Specialty Retail Sector Mechanical Engineer, where they provided a wide array of design services for building systems.
Prior to their professional engineering roles, Isaac worked as a Dean's Office Student Assistant at Wichita State University, where they assisted in planning engineering events and designing promotional materials.

Isaac Brethour completed their high school education at Shawnee Mission South High School from 2009 to 2014. During their time there, they emphasized their studies in engineering through Project Lead the Way. Subsequently, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with minors in Math and Honors, at Wichita State University from 2014 to 2018.
