Mindy Garrett (she/her)

Mindy Garrett, PHR, has a comprehensive work experience in human resources. Mindy is currently the Chief People Officer and Principal at Henderson Engineers, starting in May 2021. Prior to that, Mindy worked at Cerner Corporation as the Director of HR Consulting from October 2020 to April 2021. Their responsibilities included strategic planning, employee engagement, change management, talent development, succession planning, and organizational design. Mindy also served as a Senior Vice President at Swiss Re from January 2014 to June 2020, where they were a member of the Board of Directors and worked closely with senior leaders on various HR initiatives. Mindy had additional roles at Swiss Re, including Senior HR Business Partner, HR Country Manager, and Vice President of Global HR Partner. Mindy began their career at George K. Baum & Company as an Assistant Vice President in Human Resources, where they worked from 1999 to 2007.

Mindy Garrett, PHR (she/her), holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from The University of Kansas. Additionally, they have pursued further education at the University of Kansas - Graduate School of Business, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Human Resources. Mindy has also acquired professional certifications, such as the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI and the Team Management Systems certification from TMS Development International Ltd.
