Wally Weaver

Wally Weaver has been in ministry for over 30 years. Wally has a heart for those who are struggling and want to see them find hope in Christ. Wally currently serves as the Care & Connections Pastor at Henderson Hills Baptist Church. Wally has previously served as the Director of Young Married Adults at Lake Arlington Baptist Church and as an Evangelism and Single Adults Ministry Intern at First Baptist Church of Ferguson.

After graduating from Missouri Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology/Theological Studies and Psychology, Wally Weaver continued their education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where they earned their Master of Divinity in Theology/Theological Studies and Christian Counseling. Wally is currently ABD (All But Dissertation) for their Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling from Trinity Theological Seminary. In addition to their educational degrees and certifications, Weaver is also a certified C.I.S.M. Facilitator from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Inc., a Christian PREP Facilitator from PREP, Inc., a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator from the Center for Applications of Psychological Type, Inc., and a PREP Facilitator from PREP, Inc. Wally is also certified in the Prepare-Enrich Relationship Program from Life Innovations and the SYMBIS Trainer/Leader from Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts, Dr. Les and Dr. Leslie Parrott. Finally, they have a certification in Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis from Psychological Publications, Inc.

They are on a team with Craig McClain - Operations Pastor, Andrea Cristino - Childcare Coordinator. Wally Weaver reports to John Wohlgemuth, Lead Teaching Pastor.
