Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra
Michelle Kraak is an accomplished musician and skilled apprentice electrician with a diverse background in both fields. Since August 2021, Kraak has been serving as an Apprentice Electrician at Miller Electric Company, focusing on projects related to the Facebook Data Center. Prior experience includes work as a Co-Principal Trumpet for the Brevard Philharmonic Orchestra and a Substitute Trumpet for the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra, along with various teaching roles in music, including as a Teacher at Piano Lab and an Adjunct Instructor at Montreat College. Kraak holds a Master's degree in Music Performance and Literature from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor's Degree in Trumpet Performance from DePaul University.

The Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra is a 70 member all-professional orchestra performing an annual 5 concert season, serving nearly 4000 patrons per year. The symphony offers a full progression of education programs for area children, from introductory concerts through to advanced ensemble and performance opportunities.
