Augustin de Piante

Augustin De Piante is a Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, complemented by an Associate of Engineering degree from Central Piedmont Community College. Currently serving as a Shock Engineer at Hendrick Motorsports since September 2022, Augustin previously held the position of Vehicle Dynamics Engineering Intern. Experience includes leading a team of seven as the Vehicle Dynamics Team Lead for UNC Charlotte Formula SAE, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing the engineering and manufacturing processes from January 2022 to June 2023. Augustin also contributed to engineering education as an Engineering Design Projects Preceptor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and worked as an Engineering Laboratory Assistant at Central Piedmont Community College.
