Ed Heidtke

Ed Heidtke is a highly experienced pilot with a diverse background in aviation and military service. Since July 2011, Ed has served as a Corporate Helicopter Pilot at Hendrick Motorsports. Prior to this role, Ed worked as an EMS Helicopter Pilot for Carolinas Healthcare System from April 2001 to July 2011 and served as a Flight Crew Training Instructor at US Airways from September 1999 to April 2001, specializing in ground school for the Airbus A319/320/321. Ed's military career spans two decades in the US Army, where Ed held the position of Chief Warrant Officer, serving as an Instrument Examiner, Standardization Instructor Pilot, and Master Gunner. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Methodist University.
