Jake Backer

Jake Backer has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Jake started their career at Genesco Sports Enterprises in 2007 as an Assistant Account Manager and later became an Account Manager in June 2010. In November 2010, Jake joined Hendrick Motorsports as an Account Executive and steadily progressed up the ladder, becoming a Manager of Account Services in January 2018. Jake then transitioned to the role of Director of Partnership Development in March 2019. In January 2022, they were promoted to Director of Partnerships and currently holds the position of Senior Director of Partnerships since January 2023.

From 2004 to 2007, Jake Backer attended Ithaca College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management.
