Roy Crump is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the motorsports industry. Currently at Hendrick Motorsports since October 2017, Roy manages logistics and operations for race cars in the wind tunnel, processes wind tunnel data using PowerBi, and develops software for quality control. Prior roles include engineering positions at Richard Petty Motorsports and Michael Waltrip Racing, where Roy contributed to hardware maintenance, application development, and the design of chassis and safety components. Earlier, Roy worked as a data engineer at APR Motorsport, focusing on data analysis and race strategy, and led the Auburn University Formula SAE Race Team as team captain, overseeing design and performance for a Formula SAE racer. Roy holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University.
