Francesco Angeloni

Francesco Angeloni began their work experience as an Erasmus exchange student at Wageningen University in 2007 before moving on to Radboud University Nijmegen as a PhD student from 2007 to 2011. Francesco then transitioned to Enza Zaden, where they worked as a Biotech-breeder from 2012 to 2016 and later became the Program Manager Technology from 2016 to 2018. Following that, they joined Hendrix Genetics as the Manager Breeding IT from 2018 to 2022 and then took on the role of Director Data and Application Services in May 2022. As such, they have demonstrated a strong background in IT management, software development, and strategic business partnerships within the breeding and agriculture industry.

Francesco Angeloni pursued their education in plant biotechnology, starting with a Bachelor of Science degree at the Università degli Studi di Perugia from 2002 to 2005. Francesco then went on to complete a Master of Science degree in the same field at the same university from 2005 to 2007. Francesco furthered their studies by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Plant Genomics from Radboud University between 2007 and 2013. Additionally, they also acquired certifications in Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2021 and PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from Schouten & Nelissen in 2016.
