Chelsey Hernandez

Chelsey Hernandez is an experienced educator and speech-language pathology assistant currently working with the Hendry County School Board since July 2014. Responsibilities include helping students acquire knowledge and skills to engage with the natural world effectively. Previously, Chelsey served as a program coordinator at Riverside Retreat, focusing on program development, community outreach, marketing, and volunteer management from February 2012 to July 2014. Additionally, Chelsey gained experience as a substitute teacher within the Hendry County School District between August 2010 and January 2012, emphasizing curriculum instruction and youth supervision. Chelsey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Florida Gulf Coast University, completed between 2009 and 2011.
